With the client’s passion for wine typically running very high, it is very important that the final installation has not only the visual impact but also the functionality worthy of the client’s cherished wine collection.
WineWalls have many years’ experience designing and installing wine walls, wine rooms and cellars, across a range of projects from the super prime luxury residential sector to hospitality establishments, We have worked closely with interior designers on the majority of our projects.
We provide technical support to interior designers for climate control system requirements, glazing requirements and wine racking. We also work closely on the design elements, which can be focused on the racking styles available to ultimately create a unique wine display for the client.
The consultations can cover racking systems that require additional structural support to provide the necessary load bearing capacity when the racks are loaded. We also consider the glazing style at this early stage to ensure sufficient structural support is allowed for. For climate control, we review possible equipment locations to ensure we allow for these early in the process, ensuring design space is not affected.
At the design stage, we engage with the interior design company to ensure racking features and styles are selected into the design along with the glazing requirements. We can issue mood-boards and discuss specific features that the client likes that will be incorporated into the design. We discuss finishes and lighting to ensure the final product fits seamlessly in line with the interior style of the property. WineWalls initially supply 2D and 3D layouts for consideration and
can elevate these to CAD drawings and CGI’s
where applicable.
