The WineWalls team have installed a racking system with wine dispenser at Handford Wines, South Kensington.
Handford Wines have been offering their fine selection of hand-selected wines from their shop on the Old Brompton Road in South Kensington since 1989. In 2024, Handford Wines started a large basement refurbishment project with an idea to create a unique and stunning private wine tasting area, The Cellar.
As part of this project, WineWalls recently installed a 4.5 metre wine racking system with a bespoke design and supplied in solid oak finished in Danish oil. Within the racking system, WineWalls also supplied one of our WineEmotion 8-bottle wine dispensers with a nitrogen generator.
The main features of this beautiful display are:
- Horizontal floating bottle racks for label facing forward bottle position;
- Angled bottle feature display shelves;
- Wine case racks with slide-out shelves;
- Fixed wine case shelves for functional retail storage;
- WineEmotion 8-bottle wine dispenser offering wine by the glass including smaller flights covering 8 fine wines covering white wines, rose wines and red wines offered at perfect serving temperature;
- Solid oak glass hangers above the wine dispenser area, with alternative use of open shelf space for boxed wines;
- LED lighting subtly installed within the racking, supplied with continuous dimmable silicone lights operated by a remote control;
- Storage cupboards for glassware and nitrogen generator;
Utilising the wine racking for displaying their finer wines in The Cellar, Handford Wines offer private viewings of their hand-selected rarer wine collection as well as continuing their very popular tutored group tastings. The wine dispenser will have a continuously rotating selection of interesting and dynamic wines for individual or group tasting sessions.
